• • Real-time visibility of vehicles: the TomTom system provides 10-second GPS updates via the Link 510 box pictured. These positions are sent to WEBFLEET® (the User Interface) every minute via GPRS. This functionality offers a very accurate reflection of the vehicle's route and mileage.


• • Provided the link box is powered 24/7 (via the vehicle), the vehicle will be visible 24/7.


• • The data provided by the link box can be presented in a report format in order to provide the customer with an overview (on a daily/weekly/monthly) basis of the vehicles, including stop/starts, idling time, ignition on/off and mileage.

TomTom WEBFLEET®

TomTom WEBFLEET® is everything you need to manage your vehicles online, allowing you to make reports, send and receive messages, co-ordinate movements and generally manage your field operations seamlessly from the office.

TomTom Connected Navigation

Each vehicle navigates and communicates with the help of its TomTom GO unit. The TomTom Go is connected to the TomTom Link 510 tracking unit, which is fixed in the vehicle. The TomTom Link 510 enables you to send messages and location information between the vehicle/driver and the online TomTom WEBFLEET® system, via the mobile GPRS network. All parts together provide you Connected Navigation.

• Features:


• • Two-way communication: Send and receive basic text messages and job orders or communicate freely with the people in the office. This messaging is flat rate and included in the WEBFLEET® subscription.


• • Status reporting: TomTom GO supports status reporting by offering a list of status messages that are defined by the TomTom WEBFLEET® user. To each status report message, the driver may enter additional information as free text input.


• • Tracking: Real time visibility through TomTom WEBFLEET® on where the devices are located.


• • Working time reporting: Report start/end of your working day, pause times or time spent on a job via the TomTom GO. This information can be used for salary or job accounting.


• • Easy mileage: Create reports to allow you to see the vehicle's mileage, also view personal/business trips. Useful for expense reports and tax purposes.
